The AfriCat Online Shop

AfriCat t-shirts just some of our products on sale in our online shopAfriCat is working to increase awareness of the plight of the large carnivores in Namibia and to find solutions to the conflicting interests of farmer and predator. Research into predator numbers, distribution and behaviour, runs parallel with wildlife education for children and workshops for farmers on how best to coexist with their wild heritage. Rehabilitation of ex-captive cheetah and other carnivores is also undertaken by the project. Funds are required to help with some ambitious projects in particular to help build a school in one of the conservancies which borders the western boundary of Etosha National Park. Here members of the community have agreed to stop killing the lions that prey on their livestock in return for help and support. Funds raised through items bought through the shop will primarily go towards supporting AfriCat North projects including the school and lion research.
